Taking floor at the meeting of the Conciliatory Council on Monday, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman addressed deputy factions and groups "to work hard" on the preparation of the law on state service for consideration and adoption on the whole before November 26.

Groysman said that last week, representatives of all factions and groups along with experts discussed the said draft law. "We eyed it and can state that this law on the state service is ready for second reading and being adopted on the whole," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.

Groysman noted that bringing new professional people "to the state bodies" has to be guaranteed through introduction of respective new mechanisms.

Groysman also said that this plenary week, the people's deputies would be offered to eye a number of important legislative acts.

In particular, on Tuesday, it is planned to eye a number of draft laws on denationalization of mass media organizations, a package of draft laws touching the economic development, inter alia settlement of the gas market.

On Thursday, it is planned to eye the decentralization: transfer of primary authorities to provide the citizens with services to the local level; some issues of functioning of local self-government bodies (as to further functioning of unified territorial communities).

"This process has being launched effectively," Groysman said.

He added that during his working visits to the regions he found out that the people there were fully optimistic in their support to further introduction of the decentralization reform. "As a legislature, we have to further facilitate the implementation of the local self-government authorities," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
